Who are you?: I am a 20-something year-old animation enthusiast from Europe. I've loved animation for about a decade now, and I wanted to have a website where people could get inspired - without having to repost other people's work.
Why don't you repost art?: There are a number of reasons, including, but not limited to:
I want to give artists full control over where their work appears (linking to their own pages is the easiest way to do that)

and even if I did get permission to reupload their work here, Neocities wouldn't let me host many large images.

Copyright issues (I do not own anyone else's artwork; reuploading it is a violation of copyright for both them and the studio)

Frankly, there are plenty of other places (characterdesignreferences and any archived artist webpages) that already do that. I can only hope they do that with permission.
I'm confused by the dates at the bottom of the page.: I'm European, so I prefer to use DD/MM/YY. (3/1/23 is the 3rd of January 2023.)
Why do you have extensive pages on some films, but not others?: I often find myself getting very interested in specific films for some period of time. Those are the ones that get their own pages - I'm just one person, and I'm doing this, for free, because I like it, not because I get paid.

I am an artist, and I would prefer it if you didn't link to my art.: That's totally understandable - please contact me via the tumblr ask box (I'll keep your ask private) and I'll make sure your links are removed and you don't appear on any future pages!
